How many different kinds of quills are there in use in the magical world? (this does not include the different types of bird-quills!!) Name the different kinds of quills and a short discription, if necessary, of the quill.

OK, thanks to the Lexicon, I found this list of quills: - Anti-cheating quill
- Auto-answer quill
- Hogwarts quill (bewitched so it writes down the names of new born witches/wizards)
- Quick-Quotes quill (from our fav. reporter)
- Self-Inking quill
- Smart-Answer quill
- The Detention quill (from the toad woman)
Those quills without explanation probably speak for themselves. What is in the emblem of St M's Hospital?Richard

The St. Mungo's emblem is a (somewhat gruesome, I think) crossed wand and bone. What are the names of the Death Eaters who congregate in the Dept. of Mysteries to get the Prophecy from Harry? Can anyone deduct which is the unfortunate one whose head falls into the bell jar?(Please note the wording here--I don't know if you can and I am too lazy to try figuring it out myself.)

Richard, on the quill thing, you forgot spell-check from our favorite comic twin characters: Gred & Forge!
Ever-bashing boombangers were noisy boomerangs that made booms and were banned in the third year or sixth year.
What does Ron want a drink of at the Head's Hog and is there a drink that is like it in the so called "real world?"

No description has ever been given on the boomarangs, but it is assumed they look like their muggle counterparts and contain magical properties that cause them to be far more destructive.
Filch added them to the banned items list in Harry's 4th year.
What are the uses of scurvy-grass, lovage and sneezewort?

finsy, my appologies...my online source was a bit incorrect....percy did in fact say that crouch was under the weather, blaming it on being overworked from the world cup. and my question was slightly backwards, he told harry. (note to self, not to get my questions from online information!) but he did discuss w/ bagman that crouch was under the weather.
so, for my mistake, 10 points to gryffindor!
now, let me try a revision....
what was dobby wearing when harry saw him for the first time at hogwarts??
