A sense of rightness and balance has been restored to the world. Somehow, therblig lacked a little jenny say quaw (pardon my French).
Fins, occaisionally you have to throw something in the SQUEAL's wheelhouse.
Sapphi, I also noticed the thickness of his legs. For now I am assuming it was a trick of the camera angle.

Hi all,
DVD release date has been announced: April 11. Let the countdown begin!
Finns, I know what you mean. Especially the PotterCasts these days are more about the Melissa/John/Sue social talk. The MuggleCasts discussions can actually get pretty good. Anyway, if something really interesting comes up, I'll probably post it here.
Seems like the move was a success, which means Elle gets another 10 points for this great idea! ;D
Hope everyone is fine!
Richard

I'm soooo sleepy (traveling back to Montreal yesterday, long day of school today and hanging out with the boyfriend tonight...hehe...yes, sapph, I got another one of 'em but he doesn't look so much like HP this time around. he looks like Harry Potter's cool older french-canadian/italian cousin. though, with the ongoing leg conversation, that's probably a good thing he doesn't look like Hairy Harry...but I digress). Anyways, my point is that I'm sleepy and barely coherent so I can't comment on any of the ongoing conversation, but I'm soooo glad that everyone likes this board! It looks great and all of your profiles/signatures look great, too! Best of all everyone seems much livelier and chattier on here which I'm so happy about! The only thing I think we might be missing are some newbies... we've become such an exclusive group, I really wish we had an occassional new muggie to mix things up. alas, I have no ideas how to do that, but hey, I'm still happy with all of you. I'll post this weekend when I have more time to read and fully comment on all of your posts! BTW I think we're missing sapphire and rave... can someone find them and see if they can get on this board ok? after that... I think we pretty much have everyone! I really ramble a lot when I'm tired. must go.

cissa, I'll happily send you all of our snow. I flew through Cincinatti yesterday/Northern KY airport - not really near you but kinda in the general area I guess (compared to where I am now) and had SUCH a difficult time getting on that plane to Montreal because it was sunny and warm there!!!! The weather there in N. KY was the first sunshine I had seen in a month (no kidding - 0 sun - not even for 10 minutes - for the entire month I was home in MI. we could give London a run for their money with all our cloudy days there.) anyways, I'd happily trade weather with you.

Elle, we'll take whatever you can spare. Unfortunately, Wednesday was the only sunny and warm day (63 degrees) we've had in a while. Today we look a lot like London...cloudy with a high of only 41 degrees, which doesn't bother me much, but I would much rather have this weather and actually be in London. I think Raven posted yesterday on the Trivia thread, look for the devil in her profile/sig, but where is that Sapphi??? Oh well, it's off to work I go. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

hiya muggies! well, i've completed my first half week of school (first actual full week is next) and i've survived. i think it will be very interesting and i have a feeling i'm going to learn so much that my brain will literally explode...better have the charms armed and ready to put me back together! lol. i've got my first test on monday (yes, after only really a day and a half of actual learning!) but it should be easy, it's over etiquette and PR stuff basically w/ a little bit of radiography history. did you know that thomas edison discovered fluoroscopy-basically taking xrays in real time motion and seeing like your bony hand move-and accidentally killed his assistant who was like a brother by exposing him to too much radiation? well, he did this before they knew it was dangerous. after they figured out why he died, edison never worked w/ xrays again!
cissa, i'm so jealous of your 63 degrees!!! it's been looking like london here for the past week, and it's been in the mid 30's here. we had a heat wave last week of 56! soooo not usual for this time of year, and it was really odd waking up to a thunderstorm in january earlier this week!
elle, happy to hear about the new bf! you must spill all the details in an email, here or next time i chat with you! (ok, i'm really starting to sound like a teeny bopper! lol) also, i really do like this thread. the colors are nicer, having avatars and the awesome post rating is also fun too. i think this board is just better all around
also, i agree, i miss the occassional newbie, but i think this is really nice b/c we don't have all the newbies who are just talking about how hot dan and tom are...ok, well i guess we aren't much better off talking about dan's hairy legs! LOL!
as for gayle, i think she was trying to register last night. not sure if she got it, but she should be posting soon i think. rave has been posting on the trivia side (btw, i think i've really stumped everyone on my new question ;D) i think we need to make up some rules on how long a question can stay stagnant before posting a new one .
ok, off i go! have a wonderful day muggies!

Just coming in for a quick hi. Does anyone here know where I can get a time turner of my very own? My brain is drained and I can't think of a single interesting thing to say, either about HP or anything else.

Hiya Mugwumps! Elle, it's lovely. Thanks for doing this. I also agree about missing the occasional newbie. After all, every single person here was a newbie at one time and every newbie has added so much to the conversation. That was the good thing about the WB boards. I have been having severe GoF withdrawals, but this morning my dearest friend called to tell me that we are going to see it Sunday on the military base, where her boyfriend gets passes. I wish such a great friend on everyone. Can't wait! OK, some technowitch or wizard will have to show me how to get all these great pics.

Hi all! I've spent the day reading the first 16 chapters of HBP. Hopefully, I finish the book tomorrow. I still so enjoy this book. The humor with Ron, Hermione, Lav-Lav and Fleur is just so great! And all those Ginny moments. I'm ALMOST becoming a Ginny sq***l*r (empasis on almost...). ;D Anyway, I'll post something on getting pictures and stuff on the forum on the topic Kats started in the other subforum. Beginning to feel like a technomuggle in training. Hope everyone is fine! Richard

ohhhh this is so fun that you're all posting on here so much. I am feeling sleepy beyond the point of coherence but wanted to make a book bark! and say that I will post more tomorrow after I catch up with my Muggleland responsibilities. richard, thanks for helping out with the technical stuff... feel free to start your own thread... perhaps I should create a whole board for your tech services!

Hi everyone! Just a quick post. My second consecutive day of HBP reread today, and am currently at chapter 27 (the Tower one). Last chapter I read was 'The Cave'. Love the final lines of this chapter: "I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you."
Now I'm gonna read the final chapters... Richard

SJR, the Noble Collection is where I got my time turner, but I warn you they have so much cool HP stuff that you'll be tempted to buy everything! Raven, good to see you back!!! Well with Sapphi finally making her debut it looks like the gang's all here. YEAH!!! My mom reads this forum regularly, but has only posted once, I think. She loves to talk HP so I don't know why she just doesn't join in. HINT HINT!!! ;D Love ya Mom
